KEY INDUSTRY OFFICIALS HEADLINE ACB’S NATIONAL REAL ESTATE LENDING CONFERENCE

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Key industry officials will headline America’s Community Bankers’ National Real Estate Lending Conference and Marketplace, Feb. 9-12, at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort in Tucson, Ariz.

Scheduled to address delegates are: Angelo R. Mozilo, chairman, president and CEO, Countrywide Financial Corp.; Jamie Gorelick, vice chairman of Fannie Mae; Paul Peterson, executive vice president of Freddie Mac; David F. Seiders, chief economist, National Association of Home Builders; and Diane M. Casey, president and CEO of America’s Community Bankers.

Robert R. Davis, ACB’s managing director of government relations, will present the results of ACB’s 2002 Real Estate Lending Survey. The annual survey focuses on mortgage originations, secondary market sales and purchases and the use of technology in underwriting and origination.

The program will also include sessions on income property lending, loan servicing, home equity lending, the mortgage lending technology, financial literacy and quality control and fraud prevention.

Representatives of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Countrywide Home Loans, Principal Residential Mortgage and Financial Freedom will be on hand to discuss their ACB alliance programs and other products and services.
