WASHINGTON, D.C. — ACB Partners, Inc., a subsidiary of America’s Community Bankers, announced today the addition of two new staff members to support community bankers with new and enhanced products and services that improve their bottom line.

Catherine McDonald is manager, card programs. She will market ACB’s alliance with Equifax Card Services, which processes credit and debit cards and merchant transactions for ACB member banks. McDonald will also provide members with help in marketing their card programs to bank customers.

W. Ronald Haynie is manager, mortgage lending programs. He will be responsible for several of ACB’s alliances. These include: the ACB Secondary Market Network with Pedestal that offers new technology for buying and selling mortgage loans, and the ACB Commercial Lending Network with MortgageRamp.com, which facilitates the origination of commercial mortgage and small business loans. Haynie will also be responsible for the implementation of ACB’s affinity program with Fannie Mae and the development of future enhancements. The program features financial and technological benefits to ACB members.

“We’re emphasizing these programs with expanded staff resources because our community bank members benefit greatly — in terms of flexibility and profitability — from the alliances we have with top-notch companies,” said ACB President Diane M. Casey. “Community bankers have told us that in many cases the financial benefits they realize from using the products and services of companies endorsed by ACB and ACB Partners more than cover their annual dues.”

McDonald’s career includes more than nine years in trade association marketing, membership and endorsed services programs. Her career includes stints at the National Automated Clearing House Association, the Independent Community Bankers Association and the National Court Reporters Association.

Haynie has specialized in mortgage banking and secondary market activities for more than 20 years. He was a sales management executive for more than 10 years at Freddie Mac and is a former mortgage banker and commercial banker.

America’s Community Bankers is the national trade association committed to shaping the future of banking by being the innovative industry leader strengthening the competitive position of community banks. To learn more about ACB, visit www.AmericasCommunityBankers.com.
