William J. Kroll Bill joined ACB Business Partners as President in January 2004, bringing
nearly 30 years of extensive, hands-on experience at major commercial banks.
Prior to joining ACB Business Partners, Bill was first vice president of MBNA
America Bank, Wilmington, Del., since 1996. He managed the bank’s community bank
business development area, which included negotiating partnerships with
community banks in the areas of co-branded credit cards, consumer finance sales
and marketing and mortgage banking operations.
Deborah Whiteside Deborah Whiteside joined ACB
Business Partners in September 2003 as Senior Vice President of Mortgage
Solutions. In that position, Ms. Whiteside establishes and oversees all
mortgage-related partnerships for ACB members. Prior to joining ACB, Whiteside
was Managing DIrector at Pedestal Inc. and worked for 14 years at Fannie Mae in
various management positions including, Director of Product Development and
Director of Technology Marketing. Whiteside holds a BA in Economics and English
from Georgetown University and an MBA in Finance from George Washington
University.
Helen Sullivan With over 18 years experience within the financial industry, Helen joined ACB Business Partners in October 2002 as the Director – Financial/Capital Markets Solutions. Prior to joining ACB Business Partners, Helen managed a specialized group within the Equity Trading & Sales Department of Friedman Billings Ramsey Group, providing dedicated investment counsel and capital management strategies to community banks & thrifts. Before moving to Washington, D.C., Helen spent six years at Goldman Sachs & Company in New York working on the U.S. Government Securities Trading Desk. Helen received a B.A. in Economics from The University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
Robert C. Seiwert Bob joined ACB in September 2004 and is responsible for developing the trade association’s commercial banking practice area. Prior to joining ACB, Bob was a commercial banker. During his thirty year banking career, he served in various line and staff positions and has extensive experience in the areas of commercial lending, sales and marketing, executive education and strategy development. Bob has been a relationship manager, senior relationship manager, market manager and head of commercial lending. Approximately, seventeen of his thirty year banking career was spent with Banc One Corporation, where he served as Chairman, President & CEO of one of Banc One’s community banks and Director of Commercial Marketing and Research for the entire organization. Bob received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
David Ridley David joins ACB Business Partners as manager of card
solutions. David will manage and develop card solutions for community banks
through best-in-class providers that want ACB’s endorsement. David’s previous
jobs included First Data Corporation, where he sold and serviced Merchant
Services for financial institutions. David’s background also includes over ten
years of commercial card sales and relationship management, previously working
for MasterCard International and Bank of America. David received a B.S. in
business administration from The American University.
Jerry Sebold Jerry Sebold joined ACB Business Partners in May, 2005 after
spending 25 years in the financial industry. 16 of those years were spent in
various management positions with credit unions in the Maryland area. These
positions included Director of Mortgage Lending, Vice President of Lending, and
Senior Vice President. Prior to this, Jerry worked in the mortgage banking industry as a Vice President of Production at Westmark
Mortgage, Assistant Vice President at RFC Mortgage, and as a Loan Officer at 1st
Washington Mortgage. Jerry holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland.
Stephen W. Polestak Steve, an experienced marketing and business development professional, joins ACB as manager of endorsed products and services. Steve will develop products and services for community banks through best-in-class providers that want ACB’s endorsement. Steve’s previous jobs included the American Traffic Safety Services Association, Pricearoundtheworld.com, Thompson Publishing Group, American Management Systems and Smith Barney Shearson. He is a graduate of Susquehanna University
